On february 14, 2023, at Xheko Imperial hotel, MTE with the support of SANE 27 organised the IIWG for Chapter 27 meeting. This meeting is important since it did introduce the new Head of the IIWG27 as well as it was the first meeting to be held following first intergovernmental conferences on accession negotiations of July 2022. Based on the Conference results, the role of IIWG 27 is increasingly important and should follow the tempo of the negotiation process. The meeting updated the participants with the latest developments but also was discussed how to improve the functionality of the IIWG.
