The stakeholder’s meeting “Cooperation between Universities, Private Sector and Albanian Government in Policy Making in Environment” took place on 2 October 2019. The meeting was open by minister Klosi who emphasized the importance of involving all stakeholders into EU negotiations preparatory process, starting from specific directive working meetings. At the workshop, was shared Swedish experience regarding cooperation and involvement of stakeholders in policy making in environment. Austrian experience was also shared in regard to the collaboration with the Universities. In the meeting was presented potential areas for cooperation within the EU accession negotiations. It was agreed that cooperation between the three major stakeholders (academia, private sector and non-governmental organizations) in policy making in environment should continue and should be strengthen in the future using existing administrative structure and procedures for EU negotiations in Albania.
