On December 4, 2019, the workshop on “ Industry Emissions and Medium Combustion Plants Directives’ requirement” took place with aim to present the main requirements of Industry Emissions Directive (IED) and Medium Combustion Plant Directive (MCPD) as well as criteria for identification of insulations under IED and MCP – selection and permitting approach.
The current status with transposition, implementation and administrative capacity of Albania regarding IED and MCP and the permitting system of the installations was also presented,
In the meeting discussion for the criteria and methodology for installations identification and preparation of the list of installations under the IED and MCPD and future work needed were discussed. In this workshop participated the responsible people from MTE and relevant institutions for both directives. SEPA expert was present who shared his experience in implementation of both directives as well his involvement in developing of Best Available Technics on EU level.
