The Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance (IPA) is the means by which the EU has been supporting reforms in the enlargement region with financial and technical assistance since 2007. IPA funds build up the capacities of the beneficiaries throughout the accession process, resulting in progressive, positive developments in the region. As such, it is important that the staff of the Ministry of Tourism and Environment and other line ministries and agencies have a good understanding of the program with an emphasis on the new features included in the IPA-III (programing year 2021-2027). These funds are also closely related EU integration processes since they bring forward the transposition and implementation of the EU Acquis.
The training is composed of three sessions dealing with different aspects of the programming, preparation of documents and implementation of the IPA projects. The first module of the training took place on June 2 -3, at Xheko Imperial Hotel.
